Ok, homie, so how the fukk is this situation any different then? All of a sudden you side with a league that was clearly wrong in blocking battles and not booking them but yet criticize them for everything else? You right, I haven't been on here long enough. But please show me. Because so far, you've have damn near been the main person making excuses for this funny ass tactic that popped off. When you like oh it's business, nah. If those battles are re-booked on a URL, nikka shyt looks skeptical and a little personal, IMO. No brotha, it's sport first then a muthafukkin business. Battle rap been around longer than the structure of the business. The business got implemented into these newer eras. Now that's fact. Because remember, battle rap made no money like it is now in the beginning. But all this shyt with the leagues, the events, the poltics, and the roster......all that shyt is new as fukk. No matter how you twist it to be like it's a business first, what the fukk made it a business? Two dudes who want to go head to head to see who is the better emcee. Not money off of YouTube clicks or excuses for blocked battles.

But he battles everywhere still and hasn't gotten penalized from much from what I've seen. Ah well.

Good lord. If it's strictly for the sport, and these guys want to battle that badly, they can go do it in the street. They can do it in a studio somewhere with no cameras. They want to get paid, they want the exposure, that's why it's a business first. And what business doesn't want exclusive product/content?

Didn't this whole discussion start from the B. Dot debate? B. Dot is clearly not in battle rap for the sport, so why are you still going on about this? He has options, there are well known battlers who aren't under a contract and WANT to battle him. But he wants to retire unless he gets the one match he wants, that's not very sporty for a guy with such a light resume.

DNA is the only top tier who puts his best foot forward most of the time, regardless of platform. We could have made a case for Ars, but 2015 happened. So when DNA does different leagues, his value doesn't diminish.

Good lord, what, my nikka? Its a mixture of the two. He put the business first. But how did the business generate? It generated from the cot damn art. How are you not seeing this either? A balance between the two should be looked at. Too much business is when you have culture vultures and all this bullshyt involved. I agreed, they should get paid but the business involves more than just that. So don't mix up what I'm saying. The politics and the shady bullshyt that came from the music business is starting/or pretty already has hit the game hard. There's no commission to regulate leagues who do bad business or when battle rappers fukk up. Too much of the art/craft/sport, there is no next level for these leagues and battle rappers to get to.

What are you talking about with B. Dot? I'm still referring to that blocked battles shyt and Hitman's card.

I see what you mean by DNA. I just see it as special case with SMACK. I respect for him for his work he put in.

How Sway? I call it, how I see it. How naive is it if I'm talking about the product/sport/craft that makes it a business? Just sayin.

??? @theflyest has been coming at K-Shine and his strange "behavior" for awhile. He just fell back a little when Shine had a run of good battles.

I figured someone would bring this up.

This is what I was referring to when I said I could pick apart every line, because my posting history says otherwise. It would just result in a novel, which would not accomplish anything.

From his point of view, it comes down towards me being bias towards ny/eastcoast. When the eastcoast does fukkery, I do not demand the entire eastcoast/ny to be banned from battle rap.

I use analogy at times, because some people need one to really understand. What if I said all white people need to be banned from hiphop music (no I don't really believe all white people should be banned from hiphop)? Someone comes along & says why don't you call for blacks to be banned? They also bring a lot of nonsense to hiphop music (which would most likely be a Caucasian poster). I respond in saying that hiphop is a "black artform" & there is no benefit for blacks to be banned from hiphop. Yes, there is nonsense, but there is some balance. The Caucasian poster responds in saying hiphop is for everyone & it is not a black culture (viewing it as an even playing field). I respond in saying the entire blueprint for hiphop & most of the contributions come from black people. Why would I demand for black people to be banned from hiphop? Ultimately, this argument would get no where, because from the Caucasian posters point of view, hiphop is for all people to enjoy & views it as everyone contributing.

It may not be the best analogy, but it works.

Why would I call the eastcoast/ny to be banned from battle rap when the format we watch was invented on the eastcoast? Does the eastcoast have its share of nonsense? Of course, but would it really benefit battle rap if the eastcoast was banned from battle rap? Not really, it would not make much sense & the eastcoast brings a lot of positive things along with the nonsense. The majority of the content comes from the eastcoast. The big events are on the eastcoast. Now, from Ronnie Devoe's point of view, him being from the westcoast, he probably views it all as the same. The eastcoast & the westcoast are exactly the same. It's like you will have myers/daylyt/verb complaining when things aren't on an even playing field, sometimes forgetting that they are jumping into an eastcoast oriented sport at the end of the day.

From my point of view, I think it would be great if the entire westcoast left battle rap. Ultimately, we agree to disagree.

Based on what STL is bringing right now, yes, all of those guys can just go away.

I changed my stance on Philly, simply to "past legends," doesn't matter from where. Reed, cyssero, lady luck, jae millz (demanding 100k), etc. The born legacy footage will dictate how I go about this. If Reed & Cyssero are spitting like it's '03, its :camby:

Here we have Lyt Saber, regarded as the worst poster on tbz. Came in as a troll, posting as if he where Daylyt, then attempted to become a serious poster. It hasn't worked. I recommend you start over from scratch. Create a new username & come back.

Yeah I have no desire to educate the guy. Once money came into battle rap, it became business first/sport second. I will just let the guy be oblivious.

Hitman has lowkey been wanting the Suge battle on other platforms. This would be considered a business move on Hitman's part. Hitman has enough awareness to realize the different scenarios. As much as I clown him, he does evaluate risk vs reward.

If I beat Suge on the URL, what do I really gain? Now, if Suge beats me on the URL, its a real bad look.

Hitman doesn't have to worry about the latter if it is on another league.

I really wouldn't be surprised if the whole point of throwing an event was just to get that specific battle out of the way. I honestly believe "Ball Game Battle League" will be a one & done event, unless he proves me wrong. Todd actually seems to be in it for the long run.

Suge wants it on the URL, because its a better look for him. It's all business.
