Bringing him over there, giving him the one battle he wants & letting him ride off into the sunset does little to nothing for their brand. That's what it comes down to.
The hype will die eventually, & Smack will still thrive with new talent that is willing to work within that system.

Thing is he didnt ask Norbes or Tink for a battle. He was challenged by Tink/Norbes to do a pg and when he declined Norbes got butt hurt. I respect him declining as he feels his worth is more at this point. A lot of battle rappers would jump on Norbes nuts to get that PG even if they feel its below them. B dot apparently doesn't want to take that route which is his good right as its URL's right to not offer him anything else.

Its not a matter of giving passes, a vet has a good performance and nikkas start claiming he'a rapping like he's back in his prime.

I thought that that's just what battle rap is. A dude has a come up, people get hype over the potential that he'll remain dope.. if he doesn't bushes. Current vets who are borderline bushes had runs where they were the hot topic.. then they ended up bushes. I guess it's OD the people saying BDot/Nitty/whoever are going to flat out KILL their chosen opponent.. that seems reckless, but I don't think (?) it's the majority in this forum, anyway.

Even the stanniest nikkas in here I think always post/know in the back of their mind that their favorite dude might fall apart in short order. If we all posted cautiously, this shyt would be boring and all we'd ever say is "DAMN HE BEEN COOKIN LATELY but he might fall off so ima lay back" We've even see @Spud34 say he was thinking about throwing Born to the bushes.

No offense , but I think you are the one going overboard on the expectations.

Gjonaj sunk because he jumped from pg to dizaster. Nobody is asking BDot to take that kind of leap. Who said BDot should be in the ring with verb, clips, hollow, surf, tay rock, or the others seen as the elite?

From a branding stand point he earned his own stripes. Gjonaj is a bad example simply because url did give him his name. Url didn't give b dot his name. His situation is different and unique so from a business perspective you have to treat it as such and BDot would be selling himself short going through the proving grounds.

Because of his buzz he should be holding out to get not necessarily the elite but those guys who have quality but battle a lot and is more mid tier. Jc, chilla, danja zone, rum nitty, qleen, dna, todd, young kannon, those are the kind of names that make sense when you created this kind of buzz for yourself. Taking anything less is selling yourself short.

I could see your point if BDot was in url face saying set him and suge up at nome. But a 1 off at a pg event vs the saga is not asking the world. That is something they could have accommodated.

Saga was just a PG nikka not long ago. He ain't outrageous to ask for as a first URL battle.
