lot of people calling it a 2-1 or Gentleman's 30 for Sheed but honestly it's a preference battle. If you're more a fan for either of them, you can't walk away from that one thinking your guy lost

that being said, Jey 2-1 clear for me, nobody beats him when he raps the way he did in his 2nd and 3rd. Would have to go back to the 1st to be sure it wasn't a gentleman's
Because nikkas dont truly get Jeys material. He aint for casuals.

I think his next big move was battling Crooked I and nobody cared when the announcement was made (which is too bad, I would love to see what Crooked the battle rapper had to offer).

Random: Battle rap fans are hella snobby. Culture can't break new rappers anymore, but we're too good to give Joyner Lucas, Freeway and Crooked I a chance.

Battle rap has moved past recording artists battling for a check.

It’s just not a good product. Win or lose, they’re not entertaining battles.

this is either gonna be a classic or a dumpster fire, no inbetween.

But damn, why isn't URL booking matches like this? I guess these battle rappers are still charging them like is the Caffeine era

I don’t blame the URL for passing on these battles. A bunch of vets battling each other is a poor product.

Where the URL failed is not bringing in talent over the years to bring fresh matchups.

Well they bring in talent though the app but these guys are trash and no one knows who they are.

Battling rap was at its peak when URL, QOTR, and even CAC of the Dot were constantly bringing in fresh talent. These seem to be the only three leagues that can brand new talent.

I was just thinking about something. Other than Cass vs freeway (that didn't happen but was booked) there's never been an industry nikka vs industry nikka match up. Not even between the weak ones I think like jar mills, king Los, 40 cal etc

Industry nikkas always complain that they don't have much to say to regular battle rap nikkas and actually agree. I think URL should try to book industry vs industry. Maybe it would be good.
