Battle rap is in a bad place. It either needs new stars or industry rappers to come into the culture. Right now, it doesn't look like we are getting any new stars anytime soon, so we are going to need some industry rappers to jump in the ring.Nobody wants to see that shyt
Freeway just needs to do good enough to where battle rap fans want to see him battle these top-tier battlers who are almost out of people to battle.
All that battle will accomplish is getting them paid and wasting everyone else's time. It won't even get mainstream coverage unless there is some major fukkery. Nobody cares. Not to mention there's a 90% chance the battle is shyt water.

Not promoting the card whatsoever didn't help, it's not even a thread for this Cal card. I told nyggas before the Lux vs Nitty card, battle rap is dying overall. It's a few match ups left to create some sparks, about 6 off the top of my head, but I don't see it after 2025 having any life left.

These miscellaneous ass “leagues” need to cut it out man, they’re depreciating the value. Let Beasley and Smack WWF this shhit, battles are so cheap and abundant now it took the excitement out of them. Mook vs Arsenal on URL would feel like a Wrestlemania main event…not some “Oh word, they battling today?” Type shhit smh. Way too many leagues, if I was Beasley I’d tell them if you start a league we not booking you no more period, battle on your shyt

Roc's schedule this year is catching up to him. First round was not good. Marv cooking dude in the first so far
Roc was looking good against all them bums and dweebs. He hasn't won clear against a semi decent opponent all year (or since he started taking bunch of battles back to back)
