Yeah, Jay Blac mentioned the same thing on his live yesterday.
A lot of battle rap content gets demonetized. Black Compass mentioned yesterday that they've been demonetized for the last 3 months and that was part of the reason Cola decided to leave. Last week, Restore Order lost the monetization for their last live in about 10 minutes. They were warned to try not to curse and Swave was cussing so much as soon as the live started and didn't even realize it

Hitman shoulda just waited. He had a valid reason to not drop it yet.

As JayBlac mentioned on the Live, him dropping it rushed will literally cost him THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars unnecessarily.

It’s not worth it.

All that being said, I don’t really see what’s the big deal about not cursing in a battle lol.

JC: “face the tree or get chin checked”
Calicoe: “bust birds over the plate”

Twork: “Small and testin/small intestine”

All these haymakers didn’t have any curses in them.
Battlerappers are talented enough to not need them imo.

And I even think mainstream Hiphop would be better with less of ‘em.

Like I said..

its simple, Battlerap has a cultural dysfunction where ppl that come in and do their job consistently are considered boring.

While the ones that simply don’t even show up for their shifts often..
Clock in every now and then and cause a scene at the office and make the clients turn heads get the praise and deemed ‘special employees’, bc of how they made them “feel” vs the work they put in.

TBC loves the storyline of the troubled employee that didn’t care,
but still shined and prevailed “against all odds”.

They love being part of a story, so to fulfill that storyline they fill in the gaps of not showing up for their shifts to work for them with excuses.

To be able to say “I told you, he was who I said he was”

Twork, Surf and Chess are all the same dysfunctional storyline at its core-fundamental. Just different talent levels and success.

Nah, I severed ties when he choked in like 3 jawns back to back a year or two ago. As much as he’s probably my favorite battler ever just off of his talent as a battle rapper, I can’t jack nobody who isn’t taking their craft seriously. The fans will forgive and forget in about two weeks and be right back on him,

Like who?. Nobody sued Kotd or Rbe for not compensating them after they helped build the company (Norbes), nobody has ever had gripes with Kotd or Rbe about them doing bs during negotiations or stalling then out on their contracts (various battle rappers on URL regardless of tier), no other platform has blatantly disrespected a city (Pray for St Louis) so what other battle rap platforms are you talking about?.
