I’m not even surprised. Cassidy wasn’t going hard on the promo like he usually does, so I figured something was up.

Either the business wasn’t right, or he realized that John John is one of the weakest B sides in battle rap, and this battle was not going to have the typical excitement of a usual Cassidy battle. My guess is the latter, and he didn’t want his brand associated with the battle. This battle is not going to shake the culture.

Cassidy/JJ is just not a bigger battle than Hitman/Geechi or Mook/Arsonal.

Opponents matter and he should have never agreed to the battle.

were also shytty about the day of pricing being bumped to 65 and wondering if JJDD knew the battle was gonna be cancelled before he dropped it down to 45
