I used to feel that way but now I believe he presents himself on that level purposefully. This is all built on the SMACK brand name. He stands in the middle of the performances as a logo for the brand, even though no one pays to see him. He is supposed to be relatable to the people that have supported his brand for years, and the people that work for him "Uncle Smack". The other owners have the option of putting other people on with Smack to help him get his point across, but they NEVER do. If you revisit older Smack interviews, he is a more coherent speaker nowadays. I just don't think Beasley wants him to sound TOO intelligent, and alienate the fans.
We see "Smack" and do a fair amount of assuming about Troy even though it's obvious he's playing a character. Personally I know nothing about Troy Mitchell, it's quite possible he doesn't sound like Smack when he talks to his loved ones.
I hear what you saying, but you wrong bro.
SMACK has always stuttered.
I’m not about to make a blatant speech impediment synonymous with Blackness and relatability of Black ppl.
The nikka stutters.
Stuttering is not the same as bein Black or bein relatable to Black ppl.
You can omit “big words” without sounding like you never finished school either, let’s be real.
The stuttering SMACK does is clearly an issue he has had for a long time, that’s not an act or character he plays.
Some ppl that stutter simply stutter more when they’re nervous
(in front of a camera/crowd) or get too excited and they don’t focus.
This as mentioned, is fixable by taking courses designed for this.
There’s no excuse.
SMACK should invest in his presentation and go to a course.
This is normal in the corporate world.
