With some filler, but significantly less than Hollow.

Hollow had the haymaker of the round, but the rest was okay to trash. He had more airballs, and cringe lines. Clips had a fire rebuttal. IMO, Clips was more solid overall. Hollow had ONE higher high, but had several MUCH lower lows. He wastes more bars as well. I prefer someone who is at a steady 7 going to 9-10 once or twice than someone who is all over the place, going at a steady 6 going to 9-10 once, but dipping down to 3-4 territory a bunch of times.

Sike I lied, then a bunch of NOTHING. The crowd wooed because he rapped fast, but he said absolutely NOTHING.

Aight shyt:

Bars at Cortez and D Chambers, didn't feel like typing them all out. Nothing great, but nothing super cringey. "Fake as his chain" was pretty good. This is tough, as it wasn't much about Hollow, but lead into the Multiple Choice which was dope.



Trash shyt:

Deez nuts :beli: (gets light boos, freestyles about the boos and instantly gets the crowd completely back)

With almost no filler sans the deez nuts bars. Shorter round, but he got to the point. The Cortez/D Chambers shyt served a purpose, but wasn't that needed. Personal, I guess. The question to me is: would I rather hear Hollow spit his usual one or two good things a round surrounded by filler and mediocre shyt, with several cringe lines, or hear a shorter Clips round with a fantastic opening rebuttal, a section not directly attacking his opponent, but not with as many airballs and cringe. Hollow ended his 2nd terribly, while Clips ended his with a haymaker, which was the culmination of the whole round. Neither 2nd was that good to me. Me? I'd rather hear Clips, his one groan worthy bar he freestyled right out of and kept it moving, while Hollow's round was another slog to get through with a bunch of whatever with a few gems and one really good part sprinkled in. If you edited Hollow's filler out the rounds aren't that different lengthwise. Clips is more entertaining to me and Hollow gives me the :beli: face as soon as he starts with the gibberish and filler. To me, he's Arsonal or Dizaster with the ability to come up with a potential haymaker or two a round and okay freestyle ability.

There. I'm sure I'm changing no minds, but I have a thought process, I'm not just saying the shyt to be different. What a waste of an hour :francis:

We got different opinions on what's fire and what's not. But you earned the hell out of this dap for writing all that no doubt.
