So she beat Twork and Gotti.
...and Nitty apparently.

Lol, all three of them are 100x better than her...but I can't say that because she's a girl, my fault.

Nah, she might be better than Geechi tho being real, bar wise. That aint saying much tho..

All you nikkas wrong and right to an extent.

Lux vs Hollow was close Live

But when it dropped it became very clear on the rewatch,
because Lux’s material was written in a way where it just aged like fine wine because it was so REAL.

The 3rd sent Hollow’s soul :wow:
(I believe Hollow’s positive transformation was influenced bc of it)

But regardless of WHO won the battle, or who you had.

Lux and Hollow showed their full skill set at GodTier level.

I think THAT was the most important thing I took away from the battle.

It showed me and the Battlerap community what was even possible in their skill set, since most battlers at the time only had samples or weaker versions of parts of their skillset.

On top of that, the lead up was long (which I hate)
but the battle totally lived up to the hype, which was damn near IMPOSSIBLE for Battlers of their stature.

It’s one of my favorite battles to show ppl when they ask me about Battlerap and why I like it.

Battlerap won and got a Hall Of Fame - 5 Mic classic battle

Hollow was fire though, but Back panther Lux was different. I truly miss him. Neither one of them ever reached that bar again. Especially Lux.
You ever wonder why Lux can’t deliver a really good 3 rounds like vs Hollow or Miles? Is it cuz he aint hungry or he getting older.. or he getting bad advice from his sister etc..

Doesn’t matter if they’re “better” when she’s consistently and clearly beating them.

I don’t think it’s any of that. I think he set a standard so high, and the expectations for him are so insane, that no matter what he provides people are gonna say it’s not good enough. Lux is a better writer now than he was then, but he also tries a lot of new shyt as his career moves forward. His career kinda parallels Nas in a way; Nas’s skill set improved after those first two albums but those were so iconic (Illmatic especially) that people may never see a body of work so perfect. It’s almost like asking why didn’t Kobe just score 81 every game.

Dr. DNA already diagnosed him with battlerap dementia. It's over for Lux :mjcry:
The only cure for this aggressive disease is to take a battle against JC, but we know that aint happening :troll:

I’m insinuating they’re not really taking battling her that seriously.

A win is a win is a win tho, 🤷🏽‍♂️🫡. They’re not even wins really, it’s all debatable really…the goal is to do good enough so your fans can argue that you won

He approaches battles and freestyles differently. If he battled like he freestyled, he'd body everyone in front of him, it wouldn't be close. He's so far ahead of these dudes as a pure MC, it's actually laughable. But his battle IQ is low. In order to appease modern fans you have to get to your point quickly, make it complex but digestible. Lux will take you down the corner and up the block just to cross the street in his battles. He loses the audience.

He killed Hollow because he really didn't like Hollow at the time and had a point to prove

I don't think he's felt he had a point to prove since or even cared enough. He wants to biggest bag possible and the match up that makes the most sense where he can recreate the Calicoe moment again. He wants to go viral. That's why he's picking Hitman over Nitty. He knows there's so much to talk about with Hitman then add on to the fact Hitman is so popular, it will be his biggest pay day and the most eyes. It's a win win. That's all he cares about now. He even said it on a Twitter spaces, we're beyond proving who can rap better. He said he already proved he raps better than all these nikkas. I honestly don't think Lux looks at any of these nikkas as real competition as far as skills go.
