Funny thing is, I only rewatch that battle for Tay Roc's first. I know it's a bodybag round for Geechi, but for some reason I think all the low hanging fruit bars made it a not so enjoyable rewatch

But I stay rewatching Tay's first. I start saying "I'ma chrome nickel-plated gat tucker" randomly lmao

Timing was a big part of that. If they battled now I admit I don't know if that Gotti 1st still hits the same. That shyt was potent because of how fed up the culture was with Roc perpetrating the fraud. My son opened up with "why the fukk you aint help Brizz" and blew the roof of the venue lol

He's an amazing battle rapper. But he's also a social climber and a chatty patty. As Sara Kana pointed out on the Spaces, the entirety of battle rap celebrated him when we saw the trailer of him on Fresh Prince. No one is turning against him, he has a pattern of shytting on people when he no longer needs them.

I would say as a fan I gave him a pass when he did it to URL because it brought excitement to battle rap. So to some microcosmic extent I enabled his behavior.
