They were stupid to complete abandon a platform that had over a million subscribers and was their best marketing tool for promotionI know they like being cheap, but they need to create for both platforms (YouTube platform, app platform).
I understand wanting to establish the app, so taking time off from Youtube was a necessary evil. But to basically leave their number 1 place for engagement was just poor decision making on their part. I'm sure the money from the app is good but you basically kill any growth opportunities.
