The problem with many of these White v Black battles is that the fans generally are FAR more invested in the personal lives of the Black battler. So there's that much more ammo for the White guy. It's rarely ever skill vs skill.
How does it make sense that Iron Solomon could mock Ness for the things he experienced because he DIDN'T grow up privileged & protected? Since when is hip-hop supposed to favor the privileged and protected? Still people came away from that battle saying Iron won, even though Ness rapped circles around him.

These are some of the main reasons I'm not a fan of 99.99% of white battlers. Especially that last part. nikkas can't RAP. This is battle RAP. Not battle talk with no cadence or flow or delivery, but I'm going to reference a bunch of stuff you did without a care about it actually being clever or having rhythm. Low hanging fruit shyt.
This is more of a battle rap problem in general
You get guys like Sikh and Ness who be rappin rappin, but don't get love cause they don't "angle" or "they're not direct"
