It's gonna depend on if the contract says ALL leagues or certain ones... if its certain ones and chrome23 aint on there... then :hubie:

If its ALL then easy should have never been able to battle on any other shyt prior to chrome23 and I think he did?

Listening to Norbes while at work. Even Norbes, who of course has his issues with the URL, is lowkey siding with the URL on this.

He’s basically saying that URL contract is valid, and that they’re doing what they’re suppose to do.
Basically. Eazy calling them some hoes out in the open and URL gotta show the world they not…

It doesnt mention any leagues specifically. Just says vague shyt like can't battle another battler signed to URL in another league with 3 3 minute rounds. Which is why he said he doesnt see the issue with him battling Hitman on chrome since Hitman isnt a URL battler.
He also said he just had a handshake deal with Beasely not to battle on RBE, this was before everything blew up.
So if Eazy isnt lying and Beasley stands on his word and says he had a handshake deal not to battle on RBE, then Ez can say that was them giving him permission to battle anywhere he wanted :manny:

URL is going the route of saying contract lasts til 2026, even though you dont owe any battles. So you need permission from URL to do any battle.

Nothing less than 60k, a YouTube drop, and a public apology

I'm going to be honest, the best move for both sides is to rectify this and Eazy comes back

Eazy gets to get a lot of battles that are still on the table: Geechi, Nitty, Roc, Twork rematch, Surf is he gets out
And URL gets their headliner back

It makes sense for both parties. The split actually was dumb.

Ehh, depends on your pov. Visibility and "star making" for URL is going down the more they embrace the app, especially with caffeine deal coming to an end.
I think Ez said he wanted Geechi, Twork, Mook, Suge and a fifth that I cant remember right now. Geechi and Mook can happen outside of URL. As far as pay it seems Ez was on that long term 20k contract with a set number of battles he completed. He said he got his biggest bag ever from Chrome with 60k. That's 3 battles :manny:

Youtube drops may happen, but the apology probably not gonna happen so seems this over unless URL's lawyers put Ez in a chokehold.

URL fumbled this so hard with Ez:
1. Lying and saying youtube drops were offered if the talent was willing to accept a lower pay. Ez said he wouldve took that if it was an option.
2. Letting someone like Ez get his last battle in w/o you negotiating his next contract. His last URL battle was who? Calicoe? They pose to had Ez locked in a contract before that happened.

Actually I can see Beasley on some "yea, we peaced it up. At the end of the day it's about the culture and giving fans what they wanted and they wanted Eazy on an URL stage". :mjlol:

Reason I said it's a fail is because it's a perfect match and both need each other

In order for Eazy to get consistent high profile battles he has to be on URL. Pretty much all the battlers that matter (who battle consistently) are on URL. What good is a Youtube drop if you run out of opponents. How many more big profile battles can he have off URL? Maybe 2? Eventually that well will run dry.

And it's smart for URL because they're lacking new stars, and Eazy is the freshed new star they've created in the last 3 years. Everyone else they've tried to build up has failed so far (Ace Amin, Lu Castro, Sikh, Chaos, Jey the Nitewing), so if they want new intriguing matchups, they need to bring Eazy back. This is kinda like a team having a contract dispute with their key player in the NFL. Sure, you might win in terms of saving money in the interim, but long term, it's going to negatively affect the brand in terms of perception and quality of events

Nope I can’t see that happening no time soon
especially with eazy talking crazy
Eazy should have just keep it peace and said thanks for everything URL had done
the way Eazy been talking I can’t see him battling on URL for at least 2-3 yrs if ever
Hitman was a bigger draw and URL not pressed about him
