Cola issue is that he think because he media that puts him in the same stratosphere as the stars and that just aint him. He thinks him and the proxy which he covers are equals which...nah fam
dude always wanna demand respect from the battlers and talk crazy and have this ass backwards mentality of "you don't respect me? i'mma do what i want then" and then get mad when people want him out of the paint. people that like him (which is another topic within itself) are here for the culture first, not him. Don't give a damn if he can go to spaces and have more people in there than the battlers. The battlers will always come before this fukkin bozo. nikka wanna say "well the culture got all these other people but yall wanna do somethin bout me? really?" yeah, dumbass. you can be a lot of things, none of em clearly, but you can't fukk up people's money :dahell: can't call yourself a hustler and step on your nikka's shoes unless you mean that disrespect

Black Compass as a whole have looked terrible this whole ordeal. nikkas got accused of bootlegging Pat Stay memorial event and immediately donated $350 because the thought was so crazy and we know how that shyt look...Thought Tone Bro was above it but apparently after their discord got leaked with them asking for cashapps and shyt, he nuked the discord talkin bout "thats what happens when there's rats among us". Polo and Cola are insane cornbillions but Tone Bro actually had a good rapport with the community. Hate to see it

Always amazed at how a lot of battle rap fans are almost as equally invested in battle rap "media" as they are in battle rappers.

Even more amazed at the amount of these bloggers being either cornballs or some type of weirdos smh.

Never understood the fascination
It’s not surprising. It’s the same way across all media. Politics, sports, battle rap, etc.

Not to say I agree with it, but it is what it is.

It also means media is under the same microscope as the performers.

Nah, it's the same as with sports. Skip, Stephen A., and them are more popular than the majority of athletes they cover. Shannon is a bigger name since he's been in media than he was as a player.

People are just attracted to personalities. It is what it is.
