The days of battle rap droughts are over, on the flipside its so much content being cranked out within the culture, its easy to be burned out. A lot of random battles are getting thrown together, and its maybe like 2 or 3 real grudge matches left in Br.
I still get hype the day of cards and usually enjoy it more than any other form of entertainment that's not sports related. I enjoy battle rap infinitely more than I do current rap music.
But I will say, days battles aren't happening, I'm not as engulfed in the day to day happenings as I was before. And I also don't watch every app drop like I used to. I used to rush to app drops, but I only watch battles that interest me now. Before I would watch any drop
I think battle rap for newer fans is probably at its peak excitement. The culture is bigger than it's ever been, more eyes are on it. But the issue is for older fans, I feel like we probably suffer a form of burnout after being a fan for 15-20 years. Like I said, it's still my favorite form of non-sports entertainment, but I get the sentiment from
