Midnight Madness thing still doesn't make sense to me. Nothing they said they were going to do happened or was so ambitious that you knew these guys had now idea what they were talking about. These big ass teams with general managers. Belt defenses. Betting odds and parlays for battles (when I heard this I knew these goofies weren't making it anywhere). Shout outs to judging battles for money but outside of that I dunno what is going on.

I'd have to have that verified from Surf and Smack before I believe it, not saying it didn't happen, I have no clue. But I haven't heard that.

And I agree, the SMD shyt is OD. But then again, I realize these younger people don't use SMD like they did my my era. SMD used to be an automatic punch in the face at minimum, but I see nikkas use it so regularly without repercussions I feel like it has lost some of its significance over the years.

Things are just different. I also hear younger cats say “fukk you” and call each other “bytch” when I’m hopping sometimes, and then nothing happens. When I was a kid if somebody said that to me I’d automatically be swinging, and if I said it to someone I’d be prepared to get swung on.
