Mannnn Day was supposed to battle Lux, then it was Shine, and he's been flirting with Surf for a minute now. I'm sick of these nikkas pump faking.

Now that you mention it, 7 years prior to NOME X was 2013. Daylyt battled Shotty that year. It was THAT battle that sparked the Day and Lux conversation.

We now live in the impatient era of battle rap, Day just back in the convo to battle Lux 2 years ago. He was an afterthought for a long time. Y'all really forgot how long Lux vs Hollow took, before it happened. It was like 6-7 years of buildup before it finally got booked.

This is not a Lux vs Verb situation where Lux never cared for 10-11 years straight and then finally said ok lol.

Daylyt is a top tier battler with his own little cult fanbase. All a guy like him needs is one battle to be in the conversation. This is not a situation where the B side needs to build his profile up and the battle needs to take years to be built up.

I'm not a fan of Day, so I don't mind the idea of the battle never happening.

We are also in an era where the money is there. To try to compare this to Lux/Hollow is kind of silly.

Lux does not want to battle Daylyt, and I'm sure he has his reasons. He has no problem stepping up immediately for Surf & Geechi, but you gotta wait years for Daylyt for it to be "just right?"

The thing about the Daylyt battle is that it’s always going to be there for them. Lux and Daylyt can fukk around , battle different nyggas (win, lose, or draw) , and people are still going to want to see it.

Sure the battle got really hot after Daylyt/Roc, but fans have been wanting to see that battle . There was a time when Daylyt was losing every battle and fans were calling for that Lux battle.
