Nah bret lol not in the industry. I was just a journalist for a bit and do more hip hop journalism now along with my big boy government job. BUT ultimately from what I can gather from the reviews that don't like it that I've read: it's not the movie they want it to be. They want something with a bit more humor to it and something a bit lighter and more in line with what Marvel is doing. Read the Deadline review, who is a guy in the industry, and he has his feelings on why people are down on it

‘Batman v Superman’ Review: Battle Of The DC Comics Superheroes Is Dark, Complex And Perfect For The Times
good read and that's my feeling on the bad reviews.
Most unintentionally hilarious/offensive part was when the court house is blown up and supes expression is just like :beli:
His expression was due to the fact he got tricked into the hearing and missed the bomb . You just look for every reason to hate

I never post in here but saw the thread n wanted to vent.

This movie was so bad to me.
From seeing the opening with Wayne's father throwing a reckless punch at the mugger, to little Bruce levitating via bat frenzy, the movie was trash from the beginning to the end.

Think back on the movie people...

Who had more dialogue, Superman or Alfred?

All he did was frown and glower all film.

I've read DC comics sporadically for years, and that random nightmare vision had me stumped, especially the awful cut in warning from white electricity Blankman, aka Flash.

All the try hard slow motion cuts.

Wonder Woman was cool, but the film was so dark that I could barely see her fighting against Doomsday.

Plus that pounding music when she first took the field.
Cool at first but needed to be lowered, only Snyder kept the tempo obnoxious.

The random email with all the other metahumans....
Was tailored for an end of credits reveal but they decided to drop it randomly into the climax just because they wanted to be different from Marvel.

This movie is so bleak and sullen that it's impossible for me to see it as a Superman film.

This wasn't Superman dragging Batman into the light but Batman taking him into the darkness.

I left the movie feeling like I just ate a two pound steak from Applebee's.
Why did I allow myself to consume so much of something that I don't even like the taste of?

:why: Are these actual criticisms or you a troll living up to your username?

If you've read the comics you should at least have an idea of what the Knightmare scenes were about

"The film was so dark I could barely see her fighting" Really breh :dead: Wear glasses in the theater next time I don't know what to tell you

If the worst you can pick on is score mixing and more complaints about the dark tone (which I can understand if you appreciate lighter vibes but to spite this movie for its gloom is downright pussified shyt. It's dark and bleak and and I love it for that reason) and not the actual heart of the movie like the acting, writing, action, etc. that's a good sign to me. Only one I'll give you is that some scenes are out of place but this movie tripled as MoS sequel/Batman vs. Superman/JL Prelude and you should have known that heading in

These critiques seem so shallow and nitpicking.

You really had an issue with the quality of punch Thomas Wayne threw in the the opening flashback? :dahell:

Some of yall are dumb as fukk. Serious :russ:

Philly born. PG raised
Walked out disappointed to be honest.

I think the theories about what's to come(as mentioned in this thread) have me excited for the future. But this movie let me down overall.

Batmans fight scenes were dope and seeing all three fight doomsday was great tho

The 'Go
Dude!!:dwillhuh:

I think you misunderstood what I said!:francis:

When I said "SS will push down" I was referring to the impact it will have on the positioning of BvS.

So say this was ranked 5 in the top 5 DC films

I was actually anticipatedly giving SS it's preprops saying it will knock this movie out of top 5 or further down the list :what:
My bad, I agree with that
