Yeah... the director's cut has some scenes of additional violence, but nothing gory or anything. Just enough that adding a punch here, a crunch there, would lead to an R rating.There's gon' be a R-rated version?
Think of all of the quick cuts made in The Dark Knight, and how they would have given that movie an R rating, that it tiptoed throughout the movie. Gotham on FOX had way more violence and gore, but it also has a sense of fantasy to it, that lifts a sense of reality from it.
