Nobody said the main villain in this was going to be a secret. In most movies, the villain is not a secret at all. In fact, it's been far from a secret.. I even said myself that they should have waited on the reveal but I disagree that Marvel should be showing Spider-Man.

they started him as a secret in this movie, regardless of the speculation and rumors.

Batman vs. Superman was being pitched as just that.., Superman vs. Batman with a random villain arriving that unites them all.

Spider-Man was nothing like that. He's just supposed to be the first hero that showed his identity or some shyt.

They already confirmed Spider-Man in Civil War after Sony made the deal with Marvel. Doomsday wasn't confirmed until the trailer

I get that but why should they be showing him? My personal feeling is that trailers should hold back on these lil things that people be waiting to see. But if your stance is trailers should show more and advertise in that way, then you shouldn't say DC shouldn't show more but Marvel should show more, that makes no sense.

I didn't expect none of them to show their surprise characters if they're suppose to be surprises. But I felt that DC/WB decided to jump the gun a lil.

But that was also the first Civil War trailer. They might put a lil Spider-Man action or something in later ones

Actually, they could.


It probably would've spoiled or confirmed what people already suspected. But they could've sold the toy based off the name of the movie itself.

And the movie comes out in 4 months.. They could've waited for the Doomsday teveal after the movie was already out.

It's like they didn't trust the predicting sales for the movie or merchandise and just decided to put all their cards on the table as far as the story goes

Trailer showed me there will be A LOT of plot holes.

Doomsday's origins for one.

Like I predicted last year. Superman's dumb ass left all that alien tech for humans to play with, it ends up in the bad guys hands and he plays with it creating weapons and monsters. Then he manipulates one of the hero's to fight the other. But I highly doubt Zod's hip had enough tech to do all of those experiments. This how movie reeks of an Avengers rip off. Aqua man was probably a fisherman who fell in the water when the world machine was terraforming earth and he got mutated

I'm gonna still go see it but DC should stick to local hero's and leave the saving the planet movies to Marvel and Ethan Hunt.
