The movie is going to be damn near 2 1/2 hours. Contrary to what some might be saying here, the movie is not two and a half minutes long.

Just cuz a movie is long doesn't directly implicate that it'll be paced out evenly. And you say damn near 2.5 hours as if a lot of summer blockbusters aren't that length, and like Man of Steel wasn't that long as well, a movie that had its storytelling issues.

Dudes have been wanting to see Batman and Superman on screen together for over 70 years and now we're getting it and people want to complain about minor stuff. 2016 we're getting Apocalypse, Dawn of Justice, Civil War, Deadpool, Suicide Squad, Dr. Strange, Gambit, and another season of Daredevil. If somebody said in 1995-1996 that we all these movies would be coming out they would have called you crazy.

Let's be honest no matter how good the movie is it will get knocked down because people put ridiculous expectations on batman and superman. Even marvel stans know in their heart they hold these two to a standard that no one else has.

The actual Batman vs Superman beef doesn't even really make sense, it seems like they just decided on their dislike for one another when they're supposed to be circumspect men who would seek diplomacy first. You saw that IM and Cap ain't really wanna fight each other but had no other choice, which to me is a much more interesting dynamic than two dudes who are just settling some imaginary score, especially when you know and even the film knows one doesn't match up to the other.

Bruce saw an alien fighting other aliens from his home planet destroying downtown Metropolis and killing a bunch of people, including people that worked in his building, why would he be seeking diplomacy? He thinks he's a problem that needs to be dealt with.

How is it an imaginary score?

Plus they just spoiled WW and Doomsdays reveals, the fukk is that

Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman in 2013, she's been part of the marketing, she was in the first trailer, how did they spoil her reveal

See I don't mind Civil War having ten billion characters in it because I've read a lot of the comics and I know the characters very well but if you are someone who doesn't read comics like that you probably will be sitting there like because a lot of the characters have not been developed or fleshed out yet. Scar witch, Vision, Falcon, Rhodes, most of them have gotten very minimal screen time. But as a comic fan I'm okay with it.

You look at this movie here and we are talking about 3 iconic characters none of which necessarily need to be fleshed out but most certainly will and then two villains, one of which will have a lot of screen time and one which is being used as a midlevel boss.

How is this going to be difficult to follow but Civil War isn't going to be difficult to follow?

I'm really disliking this version of Lex. It's like he's got some campy 60s Batman/Jim Carrey Riddler energy or something. Reminds me of Marvel's Arcade but not at all of Lex Luthor.

And not liking the look of Doomsday. I'll wait & see how they play him out, but there might be a villain problem in this flick. (Which has me thinking when I look at the two trailers together, Lex probably gets mind control over Superman at some point and Superman will be the "main villain" (puppeted by Lex) for a good part of the film which is why they fight a bunch but unite to stop Lex & Doomsday once Clark's mind is free for the finale.)

And is Affleck doing some kind of Bruce Wayne accent or does he just talk that way now?

Comic Con trailer was much stronger but now I have my doubts that they might have fukked up a film you almost couldn't fukk up given that it's Bats vs Supes. Still watching regardless.

very interesting that they took the versus aspect out of batman versus superman.

this felt more like superfriends.

yeah it's kinda like they said fukk the whole B vs. S part of the movie.

Went straight from Superman telling Batman to stay down, them showing Doomsday being created, to WW saving them/Batman, to JL vs. Doomsday.


Which is why I think they did too much and the editing is off
