Word. I hate when these plain as superhero movies spell everything out for you. Kills off any chance of replayability or respect for their audience.

Call it what you want. When you're telling a story, it should not depend on me figuring things out unless the story is mystery based or has mystery elements in it. If you're fine with that, cool. I just don't like it.

Some things don't need explaining. I would of understood had this been about the bomb in the wheelchair because of the fact we should know that Superman has X-ray vision.... not for how he know who's Batman is....that's common sense. And common sense don't need a drawn out explanation.

This is explained after the bomb goes off. Lois is talking to the scientist and she says that the Wheelchair was made of lead which is why it wasn't detected by the wand or Superman since he can't see through lead. This is also way Bats uses lead based smoke bombs

Everyone knows that Superman can see through shyt breh. That's why he said he didn't see the bomb instead of the movie showing Superman scanning the courtroom looking for a threat. Also Supes already knew Bruce was Batman when he was talking to Alfred at the party.

I already stated that generally, when Superman uses his x-ray vision, there is a visual cue, which the movie never shows. It's very plausible that Supes saw thru Batman's mask with his x-ray vision, but the movie doesn't show Supes using his x-ray vision.

It's bad storytelling is the audience has to put two and two together. Unless the story is intentionally structured that way, like a mystery story, no point in a story should be dependent on its audience putting things together themselves.

What about the scene when Bruce first meets Clark and they're discussing Gotham.. seconds later, Clark overhears Alfred directing Bruce and Clark follows him... eventually he encounters Batman face to face.

I mean, they had no blatant reveal but there were moments we could put 2 and 2 together to decipher how Clark knew Bats was Bruce.

I haven't seen the ultimate edition yet, but I'm sure the bigger issue at hand would be how did Lex know who both of them were... but the obvious answer's gonna be that he's a genius

There was some DC characters in the movie people prob. didn't realize or weren't made clear. According to imdb, the chick who introduced Lex at the party was Vickie Vale. Lana Lang was supposedly at Clark's funeral at the end. And the guy who found the Kryptonite near the Indian Ocean was Emmet Vale, the creator of Metallo.

Half and half, he found out about Clark through the ship's AI. It taught him everything about Krypton, Zod, etc. that's how he found out about Doomsday. I'm assuming he found out about Bruce through R&D spending and has been keep tabs on Wayne Industries' moves for a while, so he put two and two together.

Whats crazy is that im not a Marvel or DC stan.,. I like CB shows, movies, etc., and Marvel does the same shyt like leaving minor details out but no one complains. fukking CW and BvS had almost the same fukking plot
