Also I think there must be another scene that was cut. The extended cut didn;t explain how Supes knew Batman was Bruce Wayne.

unless batman's cowl is made of lead can't that just be xray vision? :heh:
^^this...in addition to him overhearing Alfred at the party pretty much wrapped that up. But just like Supes physically saving people after the bombing apparently a lot viewers wanted things laid out in front of them. I'm sure a scene showing the actual revelation would have played well.

Superman can't die anyways, he's gonna come back in any adaptation.
That's pretty much true of any comic book hero. They always come back eventually, but there still should be some uncertainty about coming back. For example, Quicksilver died in Age of Ultron. Now I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to bring him back to life in Infinity War, but I don't know that. I absolutely know Superman is coming back for Justice League, so why even pull that trigger in Dawn of Justice.

Sure, but you're expecting the audience to make that leap. Usually there's some sort of visual cue that Superman is using his x-ray vision. The movie doesn't show that tho. In fact, Supes doesn't even use his x-ray vision in the entire movie, so audience has to remember that he has that in his skill-set.

I think that's the "inside baseball" element of some comic book movies (heads rave about) that's problematic to the genre. But may be like dude said we are suppose surmise he's bats solely from the scene where he overhears Alfred instructing Bruce over the ear piece

Not really. You cut off Batman's head he's dead, same with Spidey, Cap, Iron Man, etc. they can't come back from that because they're not immortal unless someone uses magic. Superman can't die period, he wasn't written to die so it will never happen on screen. Hell in the comics he got so sad that all his friends and family were dying around him but he couldn't so he flew around the Universe from the 21st Century to the 700th Century learning about different planets and races.

The editing was THAT bad fam? I trust your opinion on here more than most. Talk about fukkin up. :snoop:

Check my post in the other thread. I'm not saying it's a masterpiece or anything but it makes every thing fit together much better. I think lex, then Clark benefited the most with the additional scenes.

I just watched it and it makes a huge difference.

you see lex's men in the desert killing people and burning bodies to make it look like superman killed them, lex setting people branded by batman in jail to get killed to make it look like prisoners are targeting them, when it's really lex's men giving assassination orders, you see more investigation by Lois and superman. The lady from the village in Africa talking about superman is revealed to have been an actress paid by lex to say everything she said and then later you see his men push her in front of a train to keep her quiet. You see the guy in the wheelchair had a full fridge among other details so he had no plans to die, and that lex put in the bomb without him knowing. You also see that the chair was lined with lead so superman couldn't see the bomb. Then at the end when soldiers come into the ship to arrest lex, you see him interacting with steppenwolf at the computer. The extended cut adds a lot to the film, and really should have been what we saw in theaters. It does a lot more to flesh out the characters. I probably left something or two out even in the spoiler.

i guess that where i differ cuz i nvr didnt think lex was behind all of that i just thought it was extremely stupid that the public thought supes was behind any of it and i still do.....i guess if u actually needed to see it with your own eyes it was important but i just thought it was always implied from the get go. Guess thats just me tho
