Brews why is Thor dark world so universally panned? People hate that damn movie

The villain is terrible and uninteresting in every way, the movie spends way too much time in Thor’s house, & at the end, both Odin and Thor are in the same place as characters they were at the start. No character growth for either of them. Also it’s an example of the bad guy having no real connection to the hero so this makes him and the central conflict much less interesting compared to Thor 1, winter soldier, or iron man for a few examples.

This isn't a spoiler but unlike the other avenger films these feels like a movie

a lot of superhero films feel like they are just vomiting action

These ebbs and flows and feels like your watching people you care about struggling with what happen in The last one

My favorite avenger movie

A lot of emotions evoked. A lot of tears held back.

I've never been this disappointed with a movie in my life. More than Batman vs Superman, but this movie is much better than that movie, but my expectations were higher for this.

The first 90 minutes in particular were Justice League levels with more polish. Thor is just a dunce now huh?

Overall, well done to Marvel for pulling this long ass story arc though, can't even see anyone attempting this again. RDJ and Chris Evans have been true champions, their legacy from this is gonna be more endearing than any amount Oscars the likes of a Daniel Day Lewis can win to be remembered in the history books.
