That’s the thing with Thanos. He so vain, arrogant n psychotic that he thinks HE has the right to choose who lives n dies in order to balance the university. When you look at the audacity n gall of Thanos’s “mission” u really really to detest his character

Sticking to the comics would've been too dark

He killed everyone on his home planet, and wanted to wipe out have the universe because he wanted to smash the physical embodiment of Death.

This was as close as they came to sticking with the comics



And you could tell, that they put this in at the last minute. They didn't even bother to make a fake thanos hand

I don't get why people keep asking this question. He was going around killing off half of every planet....why, when given the power of a god, would he suddenly deviate from that? It makes no sense.
