Exiled was a dope take on a gangster flick.
From Hong Won-Chan, the director of Office and writer of Na Hong-jin’s The Chaser and The Yellow Sea, comes Deliver Us from Evil, an upcoming action-thriller starring Hwang Jung-Min (The Wailing) and Lee Jung-Jae (Big Match).
Deliver Us from Evil follows a man whose life is turned upside down because of a final contract killing that must be performed.
Looking for a old Asian action movie from late 80s that I saw as a kid. I don’t know if it is Japanese or Hong Kong or Korean. I only remember that the villain has an eyepatch and there is a flashback where in some war in the past either the villain or the father of the hero foot is stuck on a mine. They eventually succeed to remove the foot off the mine. The hero and a woman fight with guns the villain in some building at the end. I need this movie :-)
Wow! just looked at a couple of pics on youtube and this one below registered quickly after more than 30 years. This is the movie I was looking for. I want to thank you a lot and I mean it.Sounds like In The Line of Duty: Royal Warriors. Came out in '86 and while I don't remember an eyepatch villain it had a flashback scene where the villains rescue a comrade that stepped on a mine and they make a pact after surviving.
Michelle Yeoh and Hiroyuki Sanada (Japanese actor) were the leads.
