I like this show a lot for what it is but it would be 100x better if it was more like "Evil Dead" and less like the sequels. Basically like this episode is what I mean.

Fake Ash is about a thousand times closer to Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness than the original though.

The only thing this episode really did different was add some seriousness and drama with that scene.

crazy cuz i only like evil dead 2 outta the trilogy ....this ep was a right balance of silly and serious tho. Kilt off them titties tho but that ash vs evil ash fight where they was going after each other weaknesses was pure jokes tho hit him in that bum knee and soft liver

I knew it was only a matter of time before those hikers were goners . When Deadite Amanda stuck her hands through their hands and was moving them around like puppets .

The reveal with Ruby at the end though

That was a dope ep. I have a feeling Amanda is gonna come back somehow because they have no reason to turn what was a series regular into a Deadite otherwise.

I knew giving the book to Xena was a bad idea.

Season finale was mostly bloody fun and the ending led right into season 2, although I didn't expect things to go down like that.

Great finale to a first season with many ups and downs, but luckily these last episodes were all ups.

And the way he looked all proud and smug when he "convinced" her to give him some gas money as well.

Finale was great,3 strong episodes in a row made up for the weak middle.

All in all it was a solid season. Started out strong,got weak in the middle but finished up on a high note while leaving you wanting more. Bruce carried the show on its back.

My 1 major complaint is the shytty cgi. It looked downright terrible. Im still mad it wasnt all practical effects.

7.5/10
