Dinandrol Functions & Traits:
Dinandrol is the most recognized trade name for the anabolic androgenic steroid blend Nandrolone Decanoate and Nandrolone Phenylpropionate. Like all Nandrolone compounds, Dinandrol is a 19-nortestosterone (19-nor), which notes the testosterone hormone lacking a carbon atom at the 19th position. As a Nandrolone hormone, Dinandrol exist by the two esters in Decanoate and Phenylpropionate that are attached. The esters do not affect the Nandrolone hormone’s mode of action in any way, but they will affect the hormones release pattern.
Once administered, the individual will receive a sharp spike in Nandrolone, and Nandrolone will be continually release for a long period of time as the esters detach from the hormone slowly.
As an anabolic steroid, like all Nandrolone hormones, Dinandrol carries an anabolic rating of 125 and an androgenic rating of 37. It is also an aromatizing steroid; however, it only aromatizes at a rate approximately 20% that of testosterone. It is, however, also a progestin, and this will affect its total estrogenic activity.
Once injected, while intended to be suitable for one injection once every 2-3 weeks, Dinandrol has since been proven to be necessarily injected multiple times per week. This frequent injection protocol is largely due to the attached Phenylpropionate ester. Without frequent injections, the individual will find Nandrolone levels are greatly unstable as they go up and down. Frequent injections will be necessary in order to maintain stable and peaked blood levels of Nandrolone.
The functions and traits of Dinandrol are very powerful and encompass some of the best anabolic steroids have to offer. Many of the Dinandrol traits are similar to other anabolic steroids, very similar to testosterone, but the 19-nor nature gives us a unique steroid. We will also find it carries two traits that really separate the Nandrolone hormone from many other steroidal hormones. The functions and traits of Dinandrol in this regard include:
