Episode 2 titled 'Pastor Tim' :wow:

Hes getting got for sure :heh:

Oh no doubt he's about to get got.

Phil not being nominated for an emmy for his past season of work was a DAMN shame

Sadly much like the show as a whole.

On a brighter note. I read that Henry will be playing a bigger role in this season. Hit 'Em Up is the chosen one. Not Paige. Objectifies women, cracked a bottle over a guys head, and knows how to spy.

Few more trailers.

In the first new trailer and the 2nd trailer I posted makes it look like Gabriel gets killed or at least injured.

Episode 4.01 - Glanders

Picking up on the heels of last season’s finale, the season 4 premiere of The Americans sees Philip and Elizabeth dealing with the fallout of all they’ve wrought. What will happen when the FBI finds out about Gene’s suicide? How will Pastor Tim deal with the revelation that they are Russian spies? And will they be able to handle a dangerous, new bioweapons assignment?

Episode 4.02 - Pastor Tim

Philip tries with increasing desperation to get rid of a sensitive and dangerous package as family tensions in the Jennings House reach a boiling point when Paige shares a secret of her own.

The Americans” will return with its fourth season on March 16 at 10 p.m. on FX.

FX Networks’ President of Program Strategy and COO, Chuck Saftler, announced the premiere date Saturday, ahead of the cabler’s session at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, Calif.

Starring Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell as two KGB spies posing as a married American couple living in suburban Washington D.C. during the Reagan administration, “The Americans” was created by Joe Weisberg.

One of the most critically acclaimed shows of 2015, “The Americans” won the award for outstanding achievement in drama at the TCA Awards, best drama series at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards, a Peabody Award and an Emmy for guest star Margo Martindale. “Americans” has also won the AFI award for TV Program of the Year in 2014, 2015 and 2016. However, the show has been repeatedly snubbed at the Emmys — something for which critics have repeatedly voiced their complaints.

After failing to receive a major Emmy nomination this past year, Variety wrote, “The longer something is ignored, the louder the fuss, and we’ve reached a fever pitch when it comes to FX’s Cold War drama ‘The Americans.'”

For its last season, the drama premiered to nearly 2 million viewers and fell off throughout its 13-episode run, dipping to below 1 million viewers for a handful of episodes, but picked up again for the finale with and audience of about 1.2 million. This was touted as its best season ever by Variety‘s Brian Lowry.

Review:‘The Americans’ Finale Caps FX Drama’s Best Season (SPOILERS)

The season four premiere of “The Americans” picks up where last season’s finale left off. Titled “Glanders,” the episode finds Philip and Elizabeth dealing with the fallout of all they’ve wrought. What will happen when the FBI finds out about Gene’s suicide? How will Pastor Tim deal with the revelation that they are Russian spies? And will they be able to handle a dangerous new bioweapons assignment? The episode was written by Weisberg and Joel Fields, and was directed by Thomas Schlamme.

Weisberg exec produces and writes the series with Fields. Other exec producers are Graham Yost and Chris Long, plus Amblin Television’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Fox 21 Television Studios produces with FX Productions.

The complete ignoring of the show by both the academy and viewers is a shame

The promos that ran during the OJ Simpson Show look fantastic. Had me doing a Michael Jordan fist pump
the most consistent show on TV right now. Hands down. More than Mad Men, House of Cards, Homeland, etc.

Three seasons of straight unadulterated FIRE

The wall street journal:

A season startling in its intensity and its endless probing intelligence--not to mention the raw suspense that hangs over every moment of every scene.... There is nothing that is the equal of The Americans on TV screens now.

:banderas:

@hexagram23 we need that preemptive sticky for next week
