Been waiting on a new episode and just realized the last one was the finally :dead:

FBI botched the William thing, got nothing out of him, which means there was no real payoff to that storyline.

Nothing else really even needs mention.

This season was :russell: in hindsight. Bunch of teases with no payoffs

Yep, it's almost time to put a flattop on this, everything is dragged on with no payoff.

The show is almost unwatchable at this point.. It's one of those shows I still watch because it used to be good and I keep thinking it'll get back to it. It's too bad cause it used to be borderline elite status but this past season was straight azz from start to finish. What I can't stand the most is the dialogue, every character is soft as fukk now and almost every line is delivered over dramatically every episode.. "Elizabeth.. I'm... I'm sor.. I'm sorry for everyt...everything that has hap..happpened" and every character is on the verge of a mental breakdown. It's not realistic at all. Shyt was hilarious when Gabriel was talking about how difficult life was in war time or whatever and then a couple of episodes later he's talking about taking his antibiotic and a nap because he thinks Elizabeth and Philip need a vacation. I used to think the writers were just about trying to create a different kind of show with all the "psychological drama" shyt instead of action but now I wonder if maybe they're just not good enough to write something other than that. Hopefully it was just a wack season.

Just finished this season.

I thought it was dope, glad I didn't watch it week to week tho, cause from the last few pages I can see the typically Coli hate being thrown its way

I think the whole Doctor character angle was a mistake, they should've brought Martha back or something or try and get her in Russia. Another thing would be to do a whole season abroad like Homeland did cause shyt is getting boring, the whole family on the run.

Just finally wrapped up the season, the finale was real meh, though i didn't think this was the worst season, there was a whole lot of edge-of-your-seat storytelling, writers must be in a quarrel on how to move the show to the next level.

Philth talking at EST about how crappy his "clients" (mother russia) were and how much they didnt deserve all the work and hours he puts in really settles it in regards to him wanting to go back or not. Wasnt he talking about defecting a couple seasons ago and/or moving to some farmland in the middle of the US?

All these deaths this season mean that the show isnt going to just milk season after season, they definitely have a story to tell and it'll be interesting to see what they do next with Philip's son in Russia, update on Martha and how shes living, Pastor Tim's wife's videotape, Paige and continuously follow the historical timeline of the Cold War. Was that superbowl 73 btw?
