In the cover, it is written that Kuzan is indeed a crewmate of Teach and not just in an alliance. Kuzan and Van Augar have kidnapped pudding.
They are not in Chocolate town.

Law and his crew seem to be doing well so far. I can see that changing If Kuzan is onboard and he freezes the waters where they're fighting though.

Pudding's 3rd eye seems to have awoken as well.

- Law's crew being built for underwater battle is pretty dope.

- I suddenly feel the weight of Pudding's capture...she can wipe out Coby's (and potentially Law's depending on the fight) memories so Blackbeard can weaponize them against old allies.

- I kinda expected Blackbeard to be more overwhelming at this point, but that's never really been in his character. His manipulative and conniving style makes him impossible to predict.

- What do we think of Vegapunk predicting his own demise? I want Franky to inherit the tech so badly if that's where this is going.

- How long until the Jewelry Bonney for nakama people start rocking? I like her character and power a lot...and when fun characters hang out with the crew, nakama hype always follows. I need more reason to speculate that far, but I do think her power vs the power that gender-bent Law's crew would be perfect for Oda's creativity.

- I'm rereading the Shabondy arc for fun and some random stuff sticks out...Kuzan has a line toward Drake that feels like a double-entendre to knowing Drake's in Sword. Jewelry Bonney is the first supernova to interact with a strawhat when she stops Zoro from starting trouble...just small stuff. But that arc is better than I remember. Also, Sentomaru has one of the best intro panels and hasn't done anything which is too bad.

It's kind of hard to gauge Blackbeard's power now from this fight. He's obviously a tank and can take some damage but you can also tell that he's not on par with Big Mom or Kaido. Law definitely doesn't seem like he's too concerned about Blackbeard's powers and fighting him like he was with Kaido and Big Mom. Or maybe fighting the previous yonko made him that strong and confident

Blackbeard is rolling deep. We’re finally seeing Kuzan in heel mode.

Avalo Pizarro and Vasco shot are the only characters on Blackbeard’s crew whose powers we haven’t seen yet… I wonder what they can do?

Pudding can read poneglyphs. Teach knows wano has a Lode Poneglyph and states that’s the reason he’s after Law right now.

There’s no way for him to know about Pudding’s DF since Big Mom kept her on WCI.
