Yea this has definitely been the most consistent chapter for a while. It's mostly shocking because it's focused on the fight
Katakuri is the strongest commander for sure. Smoothie has yet to prove why she's even in the crew imo.

Have a feeling Luffy might take an L but manage to put katakuri on his back as a consolation prize. Snakeman looks like it lacks some power compared to boundman which knocked doffy into another zipcode.
Yeah, there'd have to be some type of drawback as there would be no point in using the slower form

Kat made his arm into a spiked mochi wrecking ball, stabbed Luffy and used mochi sticky texture to trap him, spun that shyt at 1000 rpm and threw Luffy to the ground at full haki strength..
