I never watched TNA.. I'm aware of Styles because of the IWC

I have watched certain matches from TNA on YouTube from wrestlers I've head of (Sting, Angle, RVD, Hardy) that Styles was involved in

I liked what I saw.. but.....

Can we get a compilation of some dope matches of his to watch to put ppl like me who are aware but not fully aware of how phenomenal he is?

I respect your opinion, but I grew up on WWE.

I stopped watching wrestling around the start of Ruthless Aggression and got back into it when Lesnar returned. I went back on YouTube and watched matches involving Angle, Sting, RVD, etc from TNA since I'm fans of theirs once I got back into wrestling and that's how I came across Styles since he was in many of their matches (along with Samoa Joe, etc).

I have access to the Network to check out what I missed from the E when I stopped watching, but Idk where to start when it comes to TNA, ROH, etc.... that's why I made that post asking for suggestions on what to check out.

A response like that isn't helping anything if you don't dish out some info along with your suggestion.

I know Styles is dope but I wish someone would direct me toward the stuff that made him a star before he got to WWE

TNA does an asylum years show every week and they put those shows on youtube's site.

styles is still on new japan's tv show, and theyre gonna continue running his matches as champion thru the rest of the year, probably.

thats 2 weekly shows currently running at your finger-tips.

Aj has been excellent as a sports entertainer, in promo/vignette/interview.
since he cut the vignette of him and Dixie carter.
Plus spud visited him at his home vignette.
He ramped up right before he left tna and it was evident.
when he came back as the land based aj incarnation in tna, we see now.

Aj ramped right before he started back inring with the calf killer as a new landbase finisher.

I thought you watched tna.

i stopped watching TNA(and eventually wrestling altogether outside of 24/7 on demand when it was still on) once hogan & bishoff came thru and ruined TNA.

Start with the legendary:

Aj styles vs Christopher Daniels series in the early 2000's.
Which pretty much wrote the book on the Indy five star match which would become the staple of what a five star match is in this Gen.

Prior to the today outside of his WWE matches, the only matches I've seen from Styles were him against RVD, Sting, a few Kurt Angle matches, Seth Rollins, Christain and Samoa Joe

the 3-way feud with jerry lynn & low ki in the summer of 2002 over the x-division title.

it was the predecessor to the stuff he did with samoa joe & chris daniels a few years later.
