What proof do you have of this? Yvette and Antonio have said multiple times that one of the primary goals is to get reparations for ADOS, a group to which they belong. How does that sow discord among black people?
Wouldn’t trust Sheila Jackson Lee still. I believe Clyburn just signed HR40 also along with a host of others. Regardless of their change of views they need to be ran against in 2020. We need our own AOC’s.

#ADOS leadership has turned on H.R. 40 recently though, saying it's "trash" and needs a re-write, and a lot of people are in agreement. If that's the direction the movement is heading in, then those representatives technically did the right thing-- it's more a matter of WHY they did it. Either way, I think there's gonna be confusion and disagreement now.
I’m hearing Corey Booker wants to be heavily involved in HR 40 now and have Sandy Darity monitor the whole thing along with restructuring it. Sheila Jackson Lee is in a tough spot now cause she really tried avoiding Sandy and ADOS this whole time. She still will be voted out.
Bills get written, rewritten, amended, and paired with something else entirely before they are even voted on in committee all day everyday in government. Wanting HR40 to go through the same step is not some strange or bizarre request. What is, is asking the first draft to be fully supported without any changes or amendments made

I'm sure this may be off topic from what you all are discussing but does anyone know or is there a thread someone can link me to with the information on how to trace back your ancestry roots? I've made it as far back at 1865 on my mothers side and 1877 on my fathers side with online research/searching census reports. I'm at a dead end now.

I had issues with you earlier in your choice of words, something that looked like inflmamatory rhetoric to me, especially when you talk about doing things "by force". which is pretty dangerous in this day and age on the internet and with us being Black.

he calls you out basically for the same thing and then elaborates on the hypocrisy of preaching violent revolution and then switching course and telling people to go be a cog in the machine
the reason your posts raised red flags to me is that it appeared that you were urging people to violence, and in this nascent Black movement that's not the kind of thing you can be doing publicly.
when the FBI went about it's COINTELPRO program they would encourage the groups they infiltrated to engage in violent acts
I've been on here for close to 5 years and figured or found out "CharlieManson" was a cac pretty early on, matter of fact I may even have called that individual "cac" a few times myself

so when folks were fighting it out in TLR about ADOS and mods said that "AlainLocke" was just that cac "CharlieManson" I took notice but ultimately thought maybe they were wrong or just hating
but then, circling back to some of this rhetoric you're spewing about doing things "by force" and "violent revolution" I can't help but think that you're an agent of some sort
please be more thoughtful about who you send invites to
higher numbers of people on board with ADOS and reparations is great, but it should NOT come at the expense of our security and ability to communicate without outside interference or having to worry about somebody reporting back what we talk about. many a movement has been fukked up by infiltrators.

Just said it in the Reconstruction documentary thread in TLR but the right for reparations is sorely missing a component for protective laws. We're getting an account right now of how one thing was promised and everything else happened to subvert it. Reparations can't be Reconstruction 2.0
