Yea, I'm pretty sure I can get information out of my grandmother on my mom's side which is the side I grew up with. But, my father's side will be harder and I already know it.
Yea, it’s been tough on my fathers side. My grandfather doesn’t really like talking the past at all. Most of what I have comes from my grandmother, who tells me all she can.

But, I don't really care, I'm doing this for me.
As for my biological father, he called back in spring or summer (I forgot) of this year and told me the family from his side was native which would be funny if true because my great grandmother on my mom's side was half-native. my grandmother's (on my mom's side) sister who is still alive has pictures of her. But, I don't know if it's true or not, his mom (my grandmother from him) is still alive, so I'll talk to her when given the chance. It's the least they owe me.
People need to understand that I'm doing this for me. I just need names, birth dates, etc.
Yea, my grandpa had a lot of foul shxt that happened during this time period. He can’t read to this day, and still refers to whites as crackas
