So I watched our shoot segments back a few minutes ago...
It was funny a couple of weeks ago when Cena and Roman came out and started going at each other out of nowhere, but this is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth. The Roman/Cena shoot segments are so inside that they make no sense in kayfabe at all (despite the fact that Cena's are funny and have bite, at least) and I'm actually not sure what they're supposed to accomplish as promotional vehicles for the match and the wrestlers involved. If these segments were meant to get people behind Roman, then they're utter failures. If they were meant to get people behind CENA, then what the fukk is the point? He's leaving to film a movie in a bit, right? Not to mention that he's on his way out in general. The only way this makes even a modicum of sense is if Roman's going heel, and I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen any time soon.
As for the Miz/Enzo deal...yeah, yeah, great Miz promo, he can talk, yadda, yadda, we know these things.
Someone mentioned it in the Enzo/Cass heat thread, but I'm starting to get mild Muhammad Hassan vibes from this whole situation. Even if all the stories are true, humiliating the guy in public seems to be an incredibly petty way to handle things (especially given that they never did this with Carlito or with others like Hassan, and other annoying pricks like Austin Aries just got cut). Given that they're ALSO apparently depending on Enzo to draw viewers and sell merch for them as the main face of 205 Live (I guess?), these seems incredibly stupid and counterproductive as well. Just cut the guy if he's that much of a nuisance.
fukk it, that Enzo shyt leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I repeat, just cut the fukking guy if you hate him that much. Act like an actual publicly traded company and hide your gross habits, at least.
