Wondering what the plan is for Wrestlemania, I can't see Tozawa beating Murphy

Lio is so winning the belt at some point
Put Rey in the tournament, have him win the title on the MAIN CARD at WM, and a few months down the road an up and coming babyface with all the momentum gets the rub and goes over the legend with the title and brand having been elevated.
Options for the guy to beat Rey: Humberto Carrillo, ACH, Ricochet, Gran Metalik, maybe one of the UK guys floating around, some other as of yet undebuted signee.
Whoever wins the tournament has to be someone fresh for the title scene, so not Spanky/Cedric/Tozawa/Kalisto, but also needs to be a face and one believable enough to beat Murphy..which leaves pretty much no one currently on 205. This probably would have been Mustafa Ali's role if he didn't get bumped to SD.

Oney popping in to 205 to slap binches in the mouth sounds awesome to me. 205 needs more exciting sprints.
Oney is cool, he's a solid worker, but he's not going to move the needle or better spotlight the Cruiserweight Division.
I'm no longer satisfied with just having good matches. 205 has the best matches every week.
The Championship isn't the fixture on the WWE landscape I hoped it would be.
It isn't pulling in the big matches. It's just been a place to discard talent before leaving WWE all together.

I swear Cedric has kicked out of every single finisher on 205 live, but his finisher is damn near a 1 hitter quitter

I like how protected the lumbar check is.
I was at Super Showdown when Murphy kicked out of it and I damn near lost my mind. Honestly, it was the best wrestling moment I’ve ever witnessed live.
Cedric is definitely booked to be overly strong. He'll kick out of someone's finish even in a non-feud, no stakes match just to fill time. One of those multiman matches saw him kick out of 3 different finishes
