... and then you have owners that will purposely buy teams in "small markets" like the Rockies and Marlins, so they never have to spend on players, fund stadiums through tax payer money, keep the payroll below a certain threshold just to guarantee themselves a $100M return every year, and MLB is like:Sometimes I feel like all these leagues have too many teams.
What the fukk is the point is having a team in Colorado if you’re just gonna prop up the Yankees and Dodgers every year anyway?
The NBA has to rig shyt so that the Lakers and Celtics don’t go too long without being relevant or else.
Maybe the NFL can’t quite rig shyt the same way for certain markets. But they push the media to blather on about the Cowboys even if they haven’t won shyt in 30 years.
If you’re just gonna rig shyt and push the same 4 teams in every sport, you don’t need 30 fukkin teams. But I get it. You’re all still making money no matter how much these teams suck.
