He’s too slow and old to handle 2b daily. The split will be him at home in LF, and Alvarez in LF during away games that have bigger outfields since you can’t keep either bat out of the lineup.

Nobody wants to watch a major league team in a minor league stadium, especially when they are there (partially) because the onwer is a cheap fukk who keeps making bad business decisions. Same shyt that happened in Oakland. A market/fanbase should get a fair chance to support a team properly before they get moved
Nah fam, they made the divisional playoffs not super long ago and shyt was 70% full in their stadium. Tickets were cheap during their ALCS run as well. The stadium is in a trash spot that’s hard to get to from the population center but that put aside, Tampa had their chance. Time to sell the team and move them to Nashville imo

What I'm saying is you can't put that aside when you're talking about their attendance. "The fans didn't drive way out to a shyt stadium so they don't deserve a team" is bullshyt logic. You're probably right that they should move at this point, but it's a shame it has gotten to this point and completely unfair to the 17 Rays fans who are about to lose their team

The fun part is that you only need so much from your farm to get a full decade run, we barely missed the playoffs in 15 and had a shot at winning it in 16.

I swore it was in the middle of a neighborhood off the highway. They also have literally a 100 year head start on building their fanbase though, from back when it (probably) wasn't hard at all to get there. Rays started out the way in a dump less than 30 years ago. Let's revisit this topic in 2125 and see what the numbers say
