Nah, the 2004 has to have that record. That was the year Beyonce performed with Prince, OutKast won album of the year, and I think Beyonce took home 5 Grammys. The Album of the Year category was all Black artists excpet for Evanescence. The Neptunes also won Producer of the Year. OutKast also performed with George Clinton and Parliament and I think Earth, Wind, & Fire as well.

If Jay was as powerful as y'all say lemonade would have gotten a Grammy. With that being said lets be real her getting a grammy for Cowboy Carter was politics. No way she was going to get snubbed public at the country awards and not get a Grammy on the go around.
