Willie Williams is probably consensus top 3 goat defensive player in dade county.. Dude was talked about on another level, legendary lore status. He was just before my time but I saw him play live and he was a BEAST.. Im pretty sure it was a game with him vs. Frank Gore. That Carol City defense was Legendary as a whole.. Dude was nicknamed predator, had the newspapers doing features on him and chronicle his whole recruitment before a social media era and before recruiting went "mainstream".Anyone have stories on why these guys didn't pan out?

But dude was defintely a knucklehead, had a wrapsheet long as his offer list, that wasnt public knowledge for a long time, that alone was enough red flags for most but the talent was soo good, you know these coaches overlooked it.. Dude was ELITE talent BUT he played in that legendary 5 down defense where he was an edge rusher and had no responsibility, see ball, get ball only. Its been soooo many LB like that down here that never make the transition to off ball LB that I dont even worry about them anymore but that transition was tough and Randy Shannon was/is a terrible LB coach that plays favorites, so he played other guys ahead of him and he could never get the reps needed. Breh transferred, had more run ins with law and washed out.
Nowadays I think breh runs a pretty successful personal training biz and gym so he eventually straightened out and got his life on track. Definitely had the talent to play in league but it wasnt in cards.
Local news station did feature on him like 20 years later, so you know the impact was real. Da Predator was that dude! and if you can find his Miami Herald feature chronicling his recruitment, you will DIE LAUGHING

Willie was a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma: trouble gravitated towards him, a LB with 4.4 speed and a 3.0 GPA with an 1100 (out of 1600) SAT.Willie Williams is probably consensus top 3 goat defensive player in dade county..
