$17mm over 4 years from the biggest financial endowment in the sport baby food. You really don't want Michigan to go deeper down the money path. Your $20m 2 loss season will look even more pathetic that it was . $20mm paper champs.

I doubt his NIL deal is a multi year contract. Way too much flexibility in college sports for that. And if dude is what most think he is he won't be there for 4 years. But in hypothetical terms 4 yrs/17 million, is less on a per year basis than TOSU had to pay to keep Smith in the fold and that's for a WR.

He is going to make 5 million for this upcoming season, and then probably ask for another raise at seasons end. That's a lot for a player than can be schemed out of a game IMO but I understand not allowing someone like Oregon to pay him instead and y'all got it so.

Meh. This ain't one of them raggedy NIL collectives where they solely depend on donations from fans and alumni like that setup they have down there in @Whips-n-Chains neck of the woods.
