Fake injuries could cost teams timeout, penalty

Players going down with injuries after the ball is spotted could cost the team a timeout or penalty.

this is the solution that i always thought made the most sense for faking injuries, timeouts and 5 yard penalties. the whole sit out the next play or whole series isnt as punitive as it needed to be. officials are still going to have the power to have official timeouts for injuries they deem legitimate but even that needs to be dialed back so that teams arent trying to take advantage of it for extra timeouts.
