Yeah, no players to transition from defending to attack as metronomes and no truly creative players in the middle of the park. I worry that possession heavy teams like City and even Arsenal would do damage to RM next season in UCL.

Modric, Kroos, and Casemiro are arguably the GOAT midfield, certainly the most accomplished on club level. RM is in for a surprise if they think just throwing money at expensive players is gonna bring the same results.
