Taking your point into account, Dinah Asher Smith usually runs the best turn in that group, and Gabby was ahead of her, so Gabby clearly ran that turn differently than she usually does and surprised everyone.

All I am saying is that it doesn't translate to the 100 simply looking at the splits like that.

In Atlanta when Michael Johnson ran 19.32 I could understand the speculation of him being just as fast in the 100m but Gabby is elegant and long striding. She would have to increase her foot turnover for the 100m.

You are comparing her to Alfred but for footspeed Sha'carri has them all beat and once she works on her start, probably is the only one getting to FloJo's 100m time
