Looking at the reaction times from the women yesterday Sha'Carri actually ran closer to Alfred than it looked she might’ve ran faster tbh as Sha’Carri was 0.221 seconds while Alfred's was 0.144 and she slowed down at the end too that’s crazy if she ever figures that start out she will run the 100 meters

200 is doable.. Blake damn near broke it, after having a horrendous start.

But Blake was special too. Scratch what I said earlier, breaking that 200 isn’t doable

200 is doable I don't think 100 is though

The closest anyone has gotten to 9.58 since Bolt's retirement is 9.76, which is 0.18 difference that is colossal in 100m terms.

if you watch the 200m final from London 2012. You'll see that Bolt beat Blake by 0.12 seconds. So if you wanna get an idea of how close Lyles is to breaking it. Just YouTube and see the distance

Another comparison is comparing a 9.83 to Bolt's 9.58. There's a race of Asafa running 9.83 in 2010. Just Google "Crazy Acceleration Asafa Powell". Powell won by 0.26 seconds from Lemaitre who ran 10.09. That ass whooping will give you a good idea of how far 9.58 is.
