This. Sydney is a metronome. Does not alter her stride pattern at all. Completely changed the women’s event.

I think the US needs to recognize in general that

1) These European teams take track seriously
2) These European teams have immigrants / kids of immigrants that are helping out the athletic talent pool
3) As a result, you need to run your best athletes at all the events, lest you get caught slipping
