She's a poor starter majority of the time anyway.Her leg turn over and drive once she gets into her running is what makes the difference.
Her recovery/acceleration has always been top notch...but until she gets that slow start addressed, she will always run into problems when she goes up against people who have the entire package.
You know how it goes: how you begin matters.
