I think its one of two things.
Either RIch wants it out there that teams were really considering him before 55.

Or

They been knew Rich told teams he knew wasnt drafting him to not draft. And they decided to get it out there to sully Bronny's draft day.

Either way the narrative is different now.

I think it’s the prior to make it seem like he is better than 55.
