The ACC title game on at the same time as the B1G title game. How many people will actually watch SMU/Clemson over Penn State/Oregon?


It wont happen but the ACC would be better served if they moved their conference title game to Friday nights with the title game site being in Atlanta at Mercedes Benz.

Shouldn't be much of problem between mfs having so many devices in their house these days and streaming services like YoutubeTV offering multiview box features to watch 2-4 games on one screen. If they don't get the views, it'll be because it ends up being a bad game more than anything

But what if OU was the 2 loss B12 champ, would you still be advocating for SCar, some 6th place SEC team to get in over them?

Honestly, I take everything into account. So that includes sos, and eye test. The committee is also taking in brand name with Bama.

If OU lost to 2 scrub teams, amd didn't beat anyone of note, as an ALUM, of course I'm going to be happy we're sneaking in.

But if a 3 loss team played a harder schedule, had better wins, and "better" losses, I would completely understand their argument.

They can run block straight into not being bowl eligible & throw a kickback to watch The OSU's linemen in the playoffs.

I don't give a shyt about no damn SEC.

I'm just calling a spade a spade. Some of these teams from other conferences simply did not play as difficult a schedule as other conferences did.

So a 2 loss team from one conference is not automatically better than a 3 loss team from a harder schedule/conference. And that's the very argument the committee is using to put Bama in currently.

If OU had only lost 3 games this year, I would absolutely advocate them to be in over a 2 loss Big 12 team.
